Alliant Insurance Services announced a new partnership with San Diego FC (SDFC) ahead of the club’s debut season in Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2025.
In addition to serving as an inaugural season partner, Alliant was chosen through a competitive RFP process as the official insurance broker for San Diego FC’s property and casualty (P&C) and employee benefits needs.
SDFC CEO Tom Penn noted the alignment between the two organizations, citing Alliant’s long-standing presence in San Diego.
“Alliant’s century-long legacy of excellence, rooted right here in San Diego, aligns perfectly with our vision for the Club,” Penn said. “We are excited to welcome them to the team as the Official Insurance Brokerage for San Diego FC.”
The partnership provides Alliant with brand visibility through LED signage at Snapdragon Stadium, digital brand exposure, and participation in club events. Alliant will also be featured as the presenting partner at an upcoming San Diego FC commercial event.
Jay Fischer, managing director of Alliant Insurance Services, expressed the company’s commitment to building a long-term relationship with San Diego FC as both an insurance provider and a community partner.
“San Diego FC’s operations and community outreach mirror the innovation with which we approach solving our clients’ risk management challenges, and we are thrilled to support the overall vision for the club,” he said.
San Diego FC will begin play at Snapdragon Stadium in 2025. The club’s Performance Center will also host the Right to Dream Academy, a fully funded residential school and soccer academy aimed at providing professional and educational opportunities for youth talent in the region.
In other recent developments for Alliant, the specialty broker also announced the launch of its national commercial surety platform while also adding a key hire to its employee benefits group.
