Alliant Insurance Services has announced the appointment of John Slattery as a vice president in its Alliant Americas division. Slattery will be based in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Prior to joining Alliant, Slattery served as a vice president with a global insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Florida State University.

“John’s extensive experience in the Florida market, combined with his ability to deliver a highly strategic approach to risk management, adds strength to our team,” said Bob Bennetsen, executive vice president and senior managing director at Alliant. “His national reach and depth of relationships enable him to provide sound, long-term solutions that deliver measurable results.”
Slattery is the latest in a raft of hires at the national brokerage. Earlier this week, Alliant announced the appointment of Minneapolis-based Carrie Hansen as a vice president in its employee benefits division. Earlier this month, the company announced four key appointments in California.
