ALKEME has announced the acquisition of Sarrica Insurance Group, a full-service agency based in Franklin Square, New York. According to a news release, the acquisition marks a strategic step in expanding ALKEME’s footprint in the Northeast, while bolstering its expertise in key niche markets.
Sarrica Insurance Group, known for its proficiency in property and casualty insurance, brings a specialized focus on high-net-worth personal lines, commercial and residential real estate, condo associations, New York contractors, and the auto repair and collision industries. The acquisition is expected to enhance ALKEME’s ability to offer tailored insurance solutions to these specific sectors.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sarrica Insurance Group to the ALKEME family,” said Curtis Barton, CEO of ALKEME. “Their team’s extensive knowledge in key P&C sectors aligns perfectly with our growth strategy and commitment to providing tailored insurance solutions. This acquisition not only expands our presence in the Northeast but also adds valuable niche expertise to our platform.”
Santino F. Sarrica, president of Sarrica Insurance Group, expressed optimism about the partnership. “Partnering with ALKEME opens up exciting opportunities for our team and clients. We look forward to leveraging ALKEME’s growth platform and resources to expand our reach while continuing to deliver the personalized service our clients expect.”
The announcement follows a recent series of key acquisitions: the acquisition of North Point Insurance Agency in September and Dunhill Marketing and Insurance Services in August. The broker noted that these moves are part of a broader strategic effort to expand its market presence in the insurance industry.
