National insurance and wealth services firm Alera Group has announced that it has acquired Miami-based Wilson, Washburn & Forster Insurance, a full-service property and casualty insurance agency.
“For more than 60 years, Wilson, Washburn & Forster Insurance has been a trusted regional insurance provider,” said Alan Levitz, CEO of Alera Group. “This agency develops long-lasting relationships with their clients, and their collaborative working environment, as well as their dedication to customer service, makes them an excellent fit for Alera Group.”
Founded in 1961, Wilson, Washburn & Forster Insurance focuses on providing personal and commercial insurance products to customers in the marine, manufacturing, aviation, nonprofit, religious, medical, food and hospitality sectors.

The Wilson, WashbBody urn & Forster Insurance team will continue in their existing roles.
The Florida-based agency is the latest acquisition by Alera Group. In January, the firm acquired North Carolina-headquartered John Hackney Agency and Colorado-based Insurance Benefits by Design.
