Consulting and insurance broker firm Acrisure has announced that D. Michael Sherman will occupy the post of president effective immediately.
Sherman first joined the company in January this year as a strategic advisor. He will continue to be responsible for the oversight of its overall operations.
The new Acrisure executive is a 40 year insurance veteran and has occupied various top positions with other insurers during the course of his career. He will report directly to Acrisure chief executive Greg Williams.
In a company statement, Williams said: “This is an appropriate time to create a separate position of president, and Mike is extremely qualified to assume this role. He will continue to apply his vast operations and leadership experience as we further build Acrisure into the preferred provider of insurance solutions.
