As part of its efforts to serve more clients within the state, BenefitMall has announced the expansion of its Florida sales team, with Ivonne Arroyo (pictured, left) and Lisa Elstein (pictured, right) – both seasoned insurance brokers – joining the group as benefit sales executives.

“With a career spanning 23 years, Elstein has honed her expertise in the fully insured/self-insured group healthcare industry, specializing in HMOs, POS plans, PPOs, HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, COBRA, pharmacy benefits, wellness programs, and dental coverage. Elstein has built strong relationships with local insurance agents, brokers, health plans, and consultants throughout Florida,” said BenefitMall.

“With her extensive industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and proven track record of success, Lisa will make a significant impact in the Florida market and beyond,” added BenefitMall south region’s vice president Brock Purslow.

Meanwhile, Arroyo brings more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry to the table, as she joins the newly expanded Florida sales team. According to her profile, Arroyo is known for her “client-centered approach to finding solutions.”

Before joining BenefitMall, Arroyo was a senior account executive in the employer group medical division of a large health insurer. Arroyo’s specialties are employer group benefits, encompassing medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.

Purslow said he was thrilled about what Arroyo could bring to the BenefitMall Florida family.

“With Ivonne’s dedication and experience, she is making a difference and we look forward to her contributions.”

The Florida expansion is only one of a series of team expansions that BenefitMall has completed in recent months. In February, it expanded its northern California team, followed by its Georgia and Florida teams in March. On March 11, BenefitMall announced the expansion of its southern California team, followed by a Houston expansion in April. It also announced the arrival of another executive in Dallas one day ago.
