Employee benefits general agency BenefitMall has announced the addition of Trent Wong (pictured) as benefits sales executive for Texas.
According to the Dallas-headquarted company, the appointment underscores its commitment to enhancing service for brokers in Texas and bolstering the firm’s regional presence.
Before joining BenefitMall, Wong held various employer group sales positions with a major healthcare insurer and served as a senior account manager at a retail insurance agency.
Brock Purslow, regional vice president of BenefitMall’s South region, had this to say about the team expansion in Texas: “Trent brings both strong communication skills and business savvy to his role.
“He’ll make a positive impact on group insurance sales, helping brokers and their clients review and select appropriate benefits and coverage.”
BenefitMall, which collaborates with a network of 20,000 brokers to provide employee benefits to over 200,000 small and medium-sized businesses, has been on a hiring spree.
Recent hires include Christina Davies for the Northeast region, Xavier Montes for the individual & senior division in California, and Colorado benefits sales executive Sam Patton.
