As part of BenefitMall’s expansion of operations in the state of California, the company has announced the appointment of Neil Crosby (pictured) as the new director for business development in California. The company said that Crosby’s designation as director serves as a “significant step in the company’s commitment to serving its California brokers and enhancing its presence in the region.”
“Known for his excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills, Neil is committed to achieving strategic sales goals and building loyalty and trust with BenefitMall’s broker and carrier partners. We are thrilled that he has joined the BenefitMall team,” said BenefitMall western regional vice president Hadley.
Crosby brings over 40 years of experience in the employee benefits industry to his new role. Before joining BenefitMall, Crosby spent 17 years leading group benefits sales at a general agency where he recruited and trained sales professionals, developed sales strategy, and built professional relationships with industry partners.
According to his portfolio, Crosby has delivered hundreds of presentations within the industry and to employers regarding the provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). He also led the public affairs and media relations unit for both the California Association of Health Underwriters (CAHU) / California Agents and Health Insurance Professionals (CAHIP) and National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) / National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP).
“His contributions to the industry have been widely recognized, earning Crosby several prestigious awards from various industry associations throughout California,” said BenefitMall in a statement.
This year, BenefitMall has launched a hiring spree, as part of its expansion. Last July, BenefitMall also announced the appointment of new benefits sales executive for Southern California, Crystal Bishop, as part of its efforts to boost its presence in the region and strengthen broker partnerships.
Earlier, in May, the company also announced the expansion of its Texas team with the appointment of Trent Wong as a benefits sales executive for its Dallas office. This is also part of BenefitMall’s campaign to strengthen its presence in the area.
