Alliant Insurance Services announced Larry Chim as its new senior vice president within the employee benefits group, based in Dallas, Texas.

Chim is tasked with addressing challenges in healthcare benefits through strategic solutions that align with client needs. He will focus on benefits design, strategy, pricing, administration, healthcare innovation, and vendor management.

Kevin Overbey, President of Alliant Employee Benefits said that Chim's leadership experience and healthcare expertise are expected to bring value to clients and strengthen the Dallas team.

“Larry’s deep knowledge and commitment to delivering impactful benefits strategies make him a tremendous addition to Alliant,” said Overbey.

The announcement follows a series of key appointments aimed at bolstering Alliant’s employee benefits team. In May, Lori Crandall was named Senior Vice President within the group. She is tasked with supporting clients across the Southwest and Western regions. Also, Holden Strub joined the group as a producer. Strub’s responsibilities include consulting on employee benefits and creating custom voluntary benefits solutions for clients.

These recent appointments highlight Alliant’s ongoing investment in its employee benefits team and its commitment to addressing the evolving needs of its clients.

Chim has over 20 years of experience advising Fortune 1000 companies. His expertise spans industries including hospitality, manufacturing, aviation, technology, and retail, equipping him to develop tailored approaches that align with both people strategies and broader business goals.

Prior to joining Alliant, Chim spent six years leading a healthcare practice at a global brokerage firm. During his tenure, he contributed to growth and achieved national recognition for his team’s performance. Chim holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.
