Starr Companies has added commercial auto coverage for its aviation insureds.
According to a release, the auto coverage is available on an “any auto” basis for fleets owned by aviation companies when purchased with other insurance coverages.

The aviation operations that could benefit from this commercial auto coverage include, but are not limited to: fixed base operators, MRO shops, aircraft operators – fixed and rotor wing fleets, airports and flight schools.
“We are excited to offer automobile insurance coverage for aviation insureds in addition to hull and liability, aviation product liability, airport liability and workers’ compensation coverages. Starr is the aviation solution provider,” said Starr Companies Aviation president and CEO Steve Blakely.
Aside from offering specialty insurance for the aviation industry, Starr provides property, casualty, and accident & health insurance products. Other specialty coverages the insurer handles include marine, energy, and excess casualty insurance.
