Insurance conference series: Women in Insurance Summits

The Women in Insurance Summit is a one-day event centered on the issues that matter most to women in the insurance sector. It gathers outstanding female leaders from across the industry, who share the skills and wisdom they have built up over the years on their way to the top. Among the topics they touch on are:

  • advancing diversity and inclusion
  • overcoming unconscious bias

  • flexible work practices

The 2024 insurance conferences will also see the launch of the Women in Insurance Mentorship Network. This supportive platform aims to connect and empower women in the industry to become leaders and to maximize their careers.

For the second straight year, California’s Women in Insurance Summit will be held in Los Angeles. The insurance conference will provide a venue for insurance professionals to reconnect face to face. 2. Women in Insurance Summit Atlanta

4. Women in Insurance Summit Canada

Women in Insurance Summit Canada continued its goal of empowering women and developing a new generation of leaders. The insurance event also celebrated everything that the country’s insurance industry has achieved in the past twelve months. The insurance conference will feature:

Women in Insurance Summit Canada focuses on authentic and inclusive leadership. 

5. Women in Insurance Summit Australia 

Date: August 21, 2024 

Women in Insurance Summit Australia featured insightful keynote sessions, presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and networking activities led by influential industry leaders. Among the topics that covered were:  

  • creating the conditions for high performance 

  • achieving leadership success  

  • practicing mindfulness to re-energize and re-focus 

  • embracing generative AI in insurance 

  • creating inclusive cultures 

Attendees were given the chance to earn five Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) points from ANZIIF and five Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours from MFAA.   

Our annual Insurance Business Awards Conferences

Now on its ninth year, the annual Insurance Business Canada Awards has been recognized as the country’s leading awards program in the insurance profession. The event honors the exemplary achievements of Canada’s best brokers, brokerages, insurers, underwriters, MGAs, and risk managers.

 

The Insurance Business Broker Summit brought together industry leaders from across Canada to discuss how to take advantage of the opportunities presented by 2024’s volatility. Some of the key issues covered included:
