After cofounding Risk Placement Services, Joel Cavaness has led the company in its rapid growth to become one of the largest specialty products distributors and the largest MGA/Lloyd’s Coverholder in the U.S. Joel leads the growing RPS team with a focus on developing talent, and fostering a company culture of entrepreneurialism, inclusivity and community involvement. A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a BS in Business Administration, Joel additionally holds Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.
