Nadia Cote will assume the position of CEO Europe following regulatory approval. In addition to her European responsibilities, she will oversee specialty lines in the UK. Cote, an experienced insurance executive with over 25 years of experience, has held senior leadership roles in France, the UK, and across Continental Europe, beginning her career in Canada.

She will lead our teams and continue to expand our solutions and capabilities, highlight our expertise in underwriting, risk control and claims, while outperforming on profitability in the UK and Europe.”
To ensure a seamless leadership transition, Louis Marcotte, who recently stepped down as CFO of Intact Financial Corporation, will act as interim CEO Europe. Marcotte’s temporary role will bridge the gap between O’Leary’s departure and Cote’s regulatory approval and onboarding.
“Our European and UK specialty lines businesses are strong – the expertise of our underwriting, risk control and claims teams, the breadth of products and multinational capabilities, and our financial performance,” said Miller. “I am confident that Nadia and the team will continue building on our strong broker and customer partnerships.”
