Lockton Re has appointed Eric Paire as head of the Capital Advisory Practice in London, where he will collaborate with the company’s global operations to deliver customized solutions.
In this role, Paire will lead Lockton Re’s global capital advisory efforts, working with a team of 10 capital advisory specialists to provide tailored solutions for re/insurance clients. He will also play a key role in driving the company’s growth in France and other French-speaking markets.
“I could not be more excited about the opportunity at Lockton Re and the high calibre of my new colleagues across the business," said Paire.
According to Paire, offering customized solutions is essential for helping re/insurance companies optimize the capital needed to support their businesses.
Paire brings more than 30 years of industry experience to Lockton Re. He previously served as head of Capital Advisory at Aon for nearly seven years. Before that, he held leadership positions at Guy Carpenter, where he was head of Global Partners & Strategic Advisory EMEA and a director at GC Securities. His earlier career includes roles at Scor, Le Blanc de Nicolay, and AXA Re. Paire also co-founded two startups – Nexgen Financial Holdings and NessPa – and served as a director at Perils AG.
Paire’s appointment follows the addition of Sabrina Veau to the Capital Advisory team, who joined as a senior broker in December last year.
Robert Bisset, chairman of Global Retrocession & Property Specialty, Bermuda, and Market Capital at Lockton Re, said the company continues to invest in its Capital Markets and Capital Advisory capabilities.
"We are thrilled that [Bisset] has joined us and look forward to his incredible wealth of experience across Lloyds, prospective and retrospective Structured Solutions, and providing structured capital solutions and consultancy," said Bisset. "Eric and his colleagues will work collaboratively across our global platform to deliver bespoke solutions for our clients.”
Lockton Re's international CEO Keith Harrison said that Paire’s appointment reflects the company’s commitment to attracting experienced talent and strengthening its global presence. He added that Paire’s expertise will not only advance the firm’s capital advisory operations but also support its expansion in key European markets.
