It’s hard to downplay the role played by insurance technology providers in the industry, and so this new report by Insurance Business New Zealand does the opposite – highlighting insurtechs’ place in the sun when it comes to the insurance ecosystem.
The 5-Star Insurance Technology Providers 2022 listing features 17 winners, including the likes of JAVLN, Grappler, and ARNIE owner Yarris Technologies. The recognition was based on feedback gathered from insurance brokers during a 15-week research process.
Rene Swindley, chief executive of winning insurtech Initio, told Insurance Business: “I believe there has been more real progress in insurance technologies in the past two years than in the previous 20. Up until recently, it has been a very slow-moving beast. We’ve been at the forefront of this evolution.”
