PIC Insurance Brokers has announced a new strategic alliance with real estate company RE/MAX New Zealand.
RE/MAX New Zealand, a subsidiary of the global RE/MAX brand, has been active in New Zealand since 2003, operating 18 franchises nationwide.
The agreement will see PIC as RE/MAX’s exclusive insurance broker.
“This strategic partnership with RE/MAX New Zealand is a unique opportunity for PIC Insurance Brokers to introduce a complete insurance advice offering to the RE/MAX team and those New Zealanders who they work with,” said PIC chief commercial and client officer John Chandler (pictured). “There is a great alignment between our two businesses with shared values of providing exceptional service and professional advice to our clients.”
RE/MAX New Zealand CEO Mala Maharaj said the partnership is a significant milestone for the real estate firm.
“Our partnership with PIC Insurance Brokers is a game-changer for our network,” she said. “We are thrilled to present this opportunity to our salespeople, broker owners, and clients, providing them with comprehensive insurance solutions in a convenient, one-stop shop. This collaboration exemplifies our commitment to enhancing the services we offer and supporting our community.”
The partnership with RE/MAX New Zealand follows PIC’s announcement that it has become an exclusive New Zealand member of the world’s largest network of independent brokers: Worldwide Broker Network (WBN).
Consisting of over 150 firms in more than 100 countries, WBN specialises in offering services to multinational clients, focusing on property-casualty and employee benefits sectors.
The membership represents an important development for PIC as it expands its international affiliations, which include the Global Broker Network (GBN) and Asia Australia Alliance (AAA).
As WBN’s exclusive New Zealand broker, PIC provides a broad range of insurance products, including life, health, domestic, marine, commercial, and employee benefits.
“Our team of brokers has knowledge and experience across a range of insurance products including life, health, domestic, marine, commercial, and employee benefits, which will enable us to provide a high-quality and seamless service to multinational clients,” Chandler said. “We also have our own team of claims specialists so we can ensure clients are well looked after every step of the way.”
