AA Insurance New Zealand has entered into a sponsorship agreement with TVNZ for the New Zealand edition of the popular British reality property series, Location, Location, Location.
This marks the first time the series, which has seen numerous successful adaptations over its 24-year run, will feature New Zealand locales.
The original series, airing on Channel 4, is known for its engaging format where property experts Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer assist UK residents in finding their ideal homes.
The adaptation, to be titled AA Insurance Location, Location, Location, leverages the show's established popularity and the insurer's premium brand recognition, according to 1News.
Aaron Dawson, general manager of customer and partnerships at TVNZ, highlighted the anticipated contribution of AA Insurance Location, Location, Location to TVNZ's property show roster in 2024.
“We're thrilled to be adding AA Insurance Location, Location, Location to TVNZ's property line-up in 2024,” he said, as reported by 1News. “Our fantastic property shows reach key audiences, and we're excited to be partnering with AA Insurance by bringing together the legacy of the Location, Location, Location format and their reputation as a premium insurance provider through a naming sponsorship deal.”
The search for participants in the New Zealand version is currently underway, targeting individuals and families in pursuit of their dream homes, from modest family residences to serene lifestyle blocks for retirement.
The hosts for the New Zealand adaptation will be revealed in due course, with casting calls open to potential show participants. The series is scheduled to air on TVNZ1 and TVNZ+ later in the year, promising to extend the reach of both TVNZ's property programming and AA Insurance's market presence.
