As part of its Life Lessons social media campaign, several key Partners Life members shared their insights on the learnings that shaped them, and what they wished they knew.
“Having secured Partners Life as a forever company through Dai-ichi Life’s acquisition of our company in 2022, it is a natural time for me to pass the baton to the next generation,” said Naomi Ballantyne, Partners Life founder and managing director. “One of the things I have always been passionate about is passing all of my learnings and lessons on along the way. Partners Life has taken this notion and run with it in the development of the Life Lessons campaign, as we believe there are lots of lessons we can pass on that might spark something for someone.”
The Life Lessons campaign offers guidance on a trove of important topics like money, relationships, mental and physical health, work and career, adulting, and education. Central to all the lessons are what people wished someone told them as they went on through life, such as the importance of patience, understanding, and an open mind.
The campaign is also supported by contributors in Aotearoa, with the goal of reaching two younger generations of adult Kiwis who are more likely than those older to be uninsured or underinsured. Research from the insurer found that the gap for the uninsured or underinsured has remained consistently high despite the long-standing efforts of insurers and the wider industry.
Earlier this year, Insurance Business spoke with the firm’s chief risk officer, Beckie McCleland, on her biggest concerns for 2023.
