Fidelity Life has announced a reinforcement for its adviser channel with appointments in its sales and service team.
David Winspear (pictured left) has been named head of channel strategy, a new position aimed at refining the company's channel strategy, focusing on uplifting the company’s franchise appeal, and delivering growth across its advisers and partners, including the bancassurance channel.
Coming to the role with experience in financial services leadership and consultancy, Winspear has previously been the managing director of Partnering Excellence, a boutique consulting firm in Sydney, specialising in B2B distribution strategies for financial service providers. Prior to this, he held senior roles at TAL Australia.
Also Joining Fidelity Life as head of solutions is Michelle Doyle (pictured centre), formerly a senior manager at AIA NZ. She brings a range of experience in the insurance industry, having also served in various roles at AIA NZ and Sovereign. In her new role, she will oversee adviser channel solutions, professional development programs, and Fidelity Life's in-house adviser team.
Kylie Oldham (pictured right) has been appointed as senior group insurance business manager. Oldham boasts over 15 years of experience in the group insurance sector, with a proven track record in technical pricing and business development at AIA NZ and Chubb. In her new role, she will drive the growth and development of Fidelity Life's group insurance portfolio.
“Between successfully appointing these key senior hires in the Sales and Service team, welcoming a new CEO, and implementing the exciting initiatives unveiled at our flagship adviser conference, Engage, Fidelity Life is in a strong position to reconnect with advisers. We’re well and truly getting back in the game and are committed to helping take advisers’ careers and businesses to the next level, so we can collectively help more New Zealanders protect their way of life,” said Browyn Kirwan, Fidelity Life chief sales and service officer.
Elsewhere for the Kiwi life insurer, Fidelity Life recently announced that it is extending support to customers affected by last month’s flooding in Queenstown, Gore, and Southland by offering a special financial relief initiative.
