On July 30, financial services organisation Asteron Life announced its Asteron Life MDRT Grant Programme. The programme will provide $5,000 grants for up to four advisers who have a plan to implement an idea they acquired at the recent 2024 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Annual Meeting in Canada. The Asteron Life MDRT Grant Programme aims to enhance outcomes for both their businesses and customers.

Tony Arthur, EM of Life Distribution at Asteron Life, said attendees of the event in Vancouver have positioned themselves to achieve what they would if they were not investing in their business and themselves.

Arthur hopes Asteron Life MDRT grants will help recover some of the lost opportunities and benefit advisers, their businesses, and the life insurance sector.

Similarly, he said all advisers who build action plans after the event will realise significant value from the experience, regardless of whether they win or not.

“The quantity and quality of content, speakers and the sharing of best practice at the MDRT Conference sessions was an incredible experience for all attendees – and that is both in the formal speaker and engagement session and informally through conversation and networking. In reality, the trick to getting the best value from the experience, is being clear on what are the one of two things that someone can implement, as opposed to committing to too many ideas that never gain traction,” Arthur said.

“There is huge value in advisers reflecting on the ideas that have come out of the conference, completing an action plan around how to bring the ideas into their own practice and leveraging them for their business and customer benefit.”

He said Asteron Life will work alongside all financial advisers who make a submission to support the realisation of their goal.
