Global risk and reinsurance specialist Guy Carpenter & Company, a business of Marsh & McLennan, has announced the appointment of Anthony Cordonnier as managing director and global co-head of cyber and the promotion of Erica Davis to global co-head of cyber.
Cordonnier and Davis will co-lead Guy Carpenter’s cyber team to more effectively utilise its global footprint, analytical capabilities and sector knowledge. Cordonnier is based in London and will report to James Boyce, CEO, Global Specialties at Guy Carpenter. Davis is based in New York and will report to Will Garland, president, Centers of Excellence, North America, at Guy Carpenter.
Cordonnier (pictured top) joins Guy Carpenter from Swiss Re, where he most recently served as director and head of the company’s Reinsurance Cyber Centre. He currently serves as the chair of the International Underwriting Association’s Cyber Reinsurance Committee.
Davis (pictured below) joined Guy Carpenter in 2018. She most recently served as managing director and leader of the company’s North America Cyber Center of Excellence. She has more than 20 years of experience in the cyber reinsurance market and has played a central role in the development of Guy Carpenter’s strategic approach in the sector.
Guy Carpenter has also announced the appointments of Jess Fung as managing director and North American cyber analytics lead and Rebecca Ruddy as senior vice president in the North American cyber team. Fung most recently served as executive vice president at Willis Re, leading its West Coast actuarial team, and head of analytics for its professional liability segment and global cyber practice group. Ruddy joins the company from Aon Reinsurance Solutions, where she served as a director and reinsurance treaty broker and a member of the firm’s global cyber practice group.
