A global brokerage giant has announced a new addition to its organisation.
Willis Towers Watson has tapped Jill Stewart from
QBE Insurance Limited to head FINEX – Australasia. She will be based in Sydney and will be reporting to Andrew Boal, head of Australasia, and Jeremy Wall, chairman Global FINEX and head of FINEX Rest of World.
In her new role, which she will commence in September, Stewart will be working closely with colleagues both locally and globally to further expand and strengthen the organisation’s service offering to its Australasian clients.
Commenting on the appointment, Boal said the company was delighted to welcome a leader of Stewart’s calibre and reputation to the team.
“Jill has a wealth of experience and an exceptional reputation in the Australasian professional lines and financial lines arena,” Boal said. “Her knowledge of local and international markets, together with her diverse experience, will help bring fresh perspectives to Willis Towers Watson.
“With her collaborative approach, Jill will ensure our Australasian FINEX team continues to flourish and grow, bringing considerable benefit to our clients.”
Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson, Stewart has spent a long career with QBE Insurance Ltd. in a range of senior roles, most recently as national manager, professional & financial lines.
