Leading service provider The Adviser Platform (TAP) has announced the addition of two new specialists to its team.
Joining TAP as new senior operations specialist is Pooja Shetty (pictured left), who was also most recently with the Kiwi Adviser Network. With a background in financial services from advisory, claims, and experience liaising between lenders and brokers, she will be pivotal in elevating operational efficiency within TAP and enhancing the member experience further.
The second appointment is that of Naz Mistry (pictured right), who will be joining TAP as compliance specialist and adviser support. According to her LinkedIn, Mistry comes from Partners Life, bringing with her specialist experience in supporting advisers to build their business from the ground up, whilst navigating the industry’s complex regulatory landscape. Her expertise will bolster TAP's commitment to maintaining the highest level of compliance and governance support for its members.
"We’re thrilled to welcome Pooja and Naz to our TAP family," TAP managing director Ryan Edwards said. "Their strong industry knowledge, combined with their passion for excellence, aligns with TAP's vision of empowering our adviser members to achieve unparalleled success. We believe their expertise will further strengthen TAP's position as a trailblazer in the financial advice space.”
Elsewhere in the financial advice space, insurer Asteron Life attributed its 233% profit surge to financial advisers and intermediaries, with EGM Grant Willis citing them as instrumental for the company’s new business growth.
