Suncorp NZ announces key appointment

Insurance firm Suncorp New Zealand has appointed Jane Brewer as executive general manager technology, data and labs.

Brewer brings more than 20 years of experience to the role. She has been with Suncorp NZ for 13 years, where she has held a variety of leadership roles in the technology and claims teams. In her new role, Brewer will be responsible for leading the insurer’s technology teams as they continue to support the New Zealand business and joint ventures to meet their strategic and growth targets.

“I’m excited to join the technology and Suncorp New Zealand senior leadership teams as we work in partnership to elevate the customer experience and further digitise the New Zealand business in an evolving industry,” Brewer said.

Brewer’s appointment follows the departure of Terry Gaze at the end of 2018. She will take up her new role by the end of April.
