Steadfast Group has announced the promotion of Samantha Hollman to the role of chief operating officer, following the resignation of Dana Williams.
Hollman has more than 20 years of insurance experience. She joined Steadfast in 2000 and has held key executive roles, most recently as EGM: projects, brand, and people, where she was responsible for overseeing human resources and marketing and for implementing strategic initiatives for the group. Before that, she also occupied executive positions in broker services, project management, and marketing and communications.
Robert Kelly, Steadfast managing director and CEO, commented on Hollman’s promotion: “I welcome Samantha to the key role of Chief Operating Officer. Samantha brings significant experience and a thorough understanding of our business. I look forward to continuing to work closely with Samantha in her new role.”
“I am pleased that we have been able to promote from within for the COO role. Samantha’s promotion will support our key strategies including: firstly, seeking to buy, merge and hub brokers from inside and outside our Network and, secondly, assisting the Network brokers to grow, reduce costs, and improve their back office.”
Kelly also thanked outgoing COO Williams who will be returning to Canada to continue her international executive career: “I understand Dana’s desire to further her international career and return home to Canada, and I thank her for her contribution and wish her every success in the future. It has been a pleasure to work with her.”
