Southern Cross Pet Insurance has received the inaugural Canstar Blue Customer Satisfaction Award for pet insurance.
According to Canstar Blue, this is the first time it surveyed pet owners to find out their attitudes towards their pet insurer. Southern Cross Pet Insurance bagged the award after earning the rating of a maximum five stars for quality of service, process, communication and speed of response.
Southern Cross Pet Insurance general manager Anthony McPhail said the award is testament to the business’s focus on putting customers and their pets first.
“It’s no mean feat to lead the industry in customer satisfaction and I would like to take the opportunity to thank the team for their dedication,” McPhail said. “It’s clear that our customers are getting a high-quality experience.
“I believe that has been a key reason for our success - over the past year the number of pets we insure has grown by 28% to more than 27,000.”
