Insurance Business has released its 2025 Elite Brokers list, spotlighting high-performing insurance professionals across Australia and New Zealand based on a data-driven assessment of their performance in the past year.
The annual ranking aims to provide a benchmark for brokers across the industry, highlighting those who have delivered strong outcomes across multiple business metrics. It does not rely solely on the size of a broker’s book or client base but evaluates a mix of indicators tied to both growth and efficiency.
To determine the final list, brokers were asked to submit business performance data from the previous financial year, alongside verification from a nominated third-party contact.
The ranking was then calculated using several key criteria:
Each participant received a score based on their performance in each category. The cumulative score across all metrics determined their placement on the Elite Brokers list.
Among those acknowledged in Australia were Spencer Hon of Eternity Insurance and Financial Services and Abbie Wilson of National Insurance Brokers.
In New Zealand, Eamon O’Connor of O’Connor Warren Insurance Brokers was named as one of the top performers.
The Elite Brokers list provides a performance-based snapshot of broker success in the current insurance environment, marked by economic pressures, evolving client needs, and shifting risk landscapes.
For industry stakeholders, the list offers a reference point for best practices in broking performance and client development.
