A national insurance broking and financial adviser company has announced a new addition to its group.
James Camons has joined Plus4 Insurance Solutions, a national group of more than 45 independent advisers that works mostly with SMEs, extending the group’s presence in Auckland.

A certified financial planner, Camons provides personal and business insurance solutions, including income and mortgage protection, fire and general insurance, as well as business advice on key person cover, group insurance plans, and share purchase agreements.
Camons began his financial services career with Southern Life Insurance company in South Africa. He then worked for Momentum after its acquisition of Southern Life. Last year, he emigrated to New Zealand, worked at Discovery Life for four months, and founded Phoenix Financial Solutions Limited in Long Bay, Auckland in October 2016.
“James is a highly regarded financial services professional with a financial planning qualification and 16 years’ experience in the industry,” Plus4’s chairman Roy Norris said. “He has gained a reputation as an enthusiastic and hardworking financial adviser who achieves outstanding results for his clients. We are pleased to welcome James into the group.”
