PIC Insurance Brokers (PIC) has become the exclusive New Zealand member of the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN), the world's largest network of independent brokers.
This membership marks a significant step for PIC as it continues to broaden its international partnerships, which include ties with the Global Broker Network (GBN) and Asia Australia Alliance (AAA).
WBN, which comprises over 150 firms in more than 100 countries, specialises in delivering comprehensive services to multinational clients, focusing on property-casualty and employee benefits sectors.
As a fully NZ-owned and independent broker, PIC brings a wealth of expertise and a broad range of insurance products, including life, health, domestic, marine, commercial, and employee benefits.
John Chandler (pictured), chief commercial and client officer at PIC, said the company is prepared to offer top-tier, integrated services to multinational clients.
“Our team of brokers has knowledge and experience across a range of insurance products including life, health, domestic, marine, commercial, and employee benefits, which will enable us to provide a high-quality and seamless service to multinational clients,” he said. “We also have our own team of claims specialists so we can ensure clients are well looked after every step of the way.”
Olga Collins, CEO of WBN, welcomed PIC to the network and underscored the strategic importance of the New Zealand market to WBN’s operations in the Asia Pacific.
“We are excited to welcome PIC Insurance Brokers to the WBN family and expand our footprint in the New Zealand insurance market which is an important part of our APAC strategy. Our scale and scope of offering has grown significantly over the last year, and I am so proud to be able to offer such a global reach to our members and clients all around the world,” she said.
