New Zealand Home Loans (NZHL) has appointed Craig Wagstaff as its new general manager for franchise, distribution, and marketing. Wagstaff will join the home loan and insurance adviser network starting May 1.
In his new role, Wagstaff will join NZHL’s leadership team and will be responsible for growing the core business and its franchise network, as well as engaging with its community. He brings with him over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, with his most recent posting as the head of ASB Partnership at AIA. He also previously held the roles of head of new business operations at Sovereign and head of health operations at AIA.
NZHL CEO Kip Hanna said in a press release that the firm is focused on scaling the business, and Wagstaff was selected for his expertise and wealth of knowledge within the sector.
“Craig is a highly regarded practitioner; we believe his depth and breadth of industry experience will help drive NZHL forward strategically and support our local franchise offices,” Hanna said.
According to his LinkedIn, Wagstaff is a graduate from the University of Waikato and has a bachelor’s degree in social science, psychology, and management.
