Organisations working to reduce the number of road crashes are being invited join the Australasian Fleet Safety Awards 2019.
Now in its fifth year, the awards recognise the achievements of companies and individuals working in the field or road risk management. They are part of the Global Fleet Champions, an initiative by road safety charity Brake.
Brake NZ director Caroline Perry said the awards are fantastic opportunity for companies to gain recognition for the hard work they do to reduce incidents involving at-work drivers.
“I’d urge any organisation that has put measures in place to reduce their road risk to enter and help make the Fleet Safety Awards 2019 the biggest and best yet,” she noted.
This year’s awards are being sponsored by Bridgestone, SurePlan and Suzuki. The 2018 Award Winners included NZ Racing Board, EROAD and NZ Trucking Association.
The awards are free to enter. Applications close on May 31 and the winners will be announced on September 12 at a reception in Auckland.
