Young Insurance Professionals (
YIPs) is celebrating their first year of running in New Zealand with a special black and gold themed party in Auckland’s CBD.
The group, aimed at helping younger insurance professionals with career development and networking opportunities, has experienced huge growth in that year, exceeding 3000 members in New Zealand and Australia.
The free party, at Atticus, 63 Fort Street, runs from 5.30-9pm on Thursday 10 July and features door prizes, complimentary nibbles and drinks specials.
Yips NZ spokesperson,
Charlotte Robertson, said it had been a very successful year.
“We have heard many stories since our launch last year of how connections formed through YIPS have helped our members professionally.
“We are very excited about our first birthday celebration which is being run in conjunction with events around Australia.”
She said they were very grateful to the organisations which had supported them in that time, particularly their annual sponsor Insurance AdviserNet.
She also thanked party sponsors
Vero and Fortune Manning.
