A revolutionary technology that disrupts the insurance industry will take centre stage in New Zealand as part of a three-day conference.
The Blockchain NZ 2017, organised by BlockchainLabs NZ and Blockchain Association of New Zealand, will be held from May 08 to 10 in Auckland.
The event, which will run as part of New Zealand Techweek, aims to empower organisations to collaborate, undertake R&D, and commercialise new disruptive blockchain business models.

It features a series of presentations, panel discussions, workshops and networking events, designed to teach about the basics of blockchain and explore some of the ways by which the technology can be used to disrupt business models.
Top speakers from around the world will take part in the event, including Vitalik Buterin, creator of Ethereum; and Andreas M. Antonopoulos, author of “Mastering Bitcoin” and “The Internet of Money.
The conference will be divided into the following themes: An Introduction for Beginners, Money and Finance, New Funding and Organisational Models, Owning Our Data, Changing Business Models, and The Future and Changing the World.
