Wellington-based litigation firm Parker & Associates has appointed James Wollerman as a new partner and promoted Danielle Thorne and Michael Riordan as associates.
Wollerman was appointed partner in September 2018. He holds extensive experience representing clients in property damage and insurance claims arising from defective design and construction work. He specialises in civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution with a focus on construction, insurance and property related disputes.
Having joined Parker & Associates in January 2015, Thorne was appointed an associate. She has particular expertise acting for clients in representative class actions, regularly handling clients in complex, multi-party construction related disputes.
Riordan, meanwhile, was also appointed an associate. He specialises in civil litigation, with a focus on trust and company disputes. He has a background in resource management and local government law. He joined Parker & Associates in February 2018.
