The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance’s education development manager Jason Fletcher has been announced as Platinum Award winner for learning manager of the year in one of two prestigious wins for the Institute.
Fletcher’s talents were recognised in the 2014 LearnX Impact Awards after introducing dozens of education products to the Asia-Pacific insurance and finance markets and developing training programs utilising technology.
The prize recognises a talented leader who has had significant impact on a team by empowering employees and increasing skills within a team to optimise team performance.
His contribution had also contributed to the Institute being recognised as Asia Education Service Provider of the Year nine times since 2002.
“Winning awards for our education products is a great honour and serves as recognition of our dedication to providing our students with exceptional learning opportunities, said Anton Barnett-Harris, general manager of the education, events and international teams.
“The acknowledgment of our Education Development Manager, Jason Fletcher, also demonstrates how important strong leadership is to the development of top quality services and products,” he said.
The Institute also won a Finalist award in the Best Certification category for its Certificate IV in General Insurance. The Certificate IV is a cornerstone qualification for insurance professionals, providing industry inductees a valuable introduction to working in insurance.
The award ceremony will be held at the LearnX Impact conference in Melbourne in October.
