Insurance company IAG New Zealand has introduced its FlexiSpace, MyFlex and sustainable transport options encouraging New Zealanders to make environmentally responsible travel choices.
IAG, in partnership with local councils, hosted My Travel, a series of travel and flexible working expos across the firm’s Auckland and Christchurch sites aimed at helping reduce New Zealand’s carbon footprint.
“One of the easiest ways we can help reduce our carbon footprint is by looking at our travelling options, particularly if we’re driving daily,” IAG said. “These expos were designed to encourage our people to think about flexible ways of working as well as helping them plan alternative and more sustainable ways to travel to our sites.”
The insurer said the feedback from the expo has been incredible, and that it is already seeing some great changes from it.
“Our organisational purpose is to ‘Make Your World a Safer Place’ – including promoting sustainability,” IAG added.
