Insurance company IAG New Zealand is hosting a climate change adaptation event, and is inviting industry professionals and Kiwi businesses to attend in an effort to spark collective climate change response.
The event aims to explore the practical issues and actions businesses need to consider in meeting the global challenge of adaptation. It will feature the Minister for Climate Change’s approach to climate change adaptation and what it means for business. Westpac and other leading businesses will also participate to share their knowledge and expertise.
“Our climate is changing in profound ways, creating both risks and potential rewards for businesses,” IAG said. “How we react and adapt to these will spell our success or failure. It’s vital that we start now.”
The event will be held in Auckland on April 11.
