IAG has completed the trial review of its Repairhub vehicle repair facility in East Tamaki, Auckland.
The facility, which was opened in November 2019, has completed over 2,000 repairs, according to Dean MacGregor, IAG’s executive general manager for claims.
“Repairhub is a concept which is based on rapid motor vehicle repairs that are non-structural. It is designed to put our customers first, by improving their repair process experience,” said MacGregor.
“We have seen significant improvements in the amount of time taken for a repair to be completed – with the average repair time taking only 2.9 days.”
The facility, MacGregor said, seeks to meet the higher demand for high-quality repairs, more communication, and a better overall customer experience. IAG deemed the Repairhub trial a success, and is now looking into expanding the concept into other metropolitan areas across New Zealand.
IAG has a network of more than 300 approved repairers nationwide, and it also supports the collision repair industry through its Trades Scholarships programme that supports apprentices in learning and starting a career in auto repairs.
