Hiscox has announced the appointment of Josh Nevin as chief operating officer for its US business unit.
Nevin will be based in Atlanta and will report to CEO Ben Walter, according to a report by Intelligent Insurer.
Prior to his appointment at the specialist insurer, Nevin was the COO at Wagner Oil Company. He has also served as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company and vice president of operations and business development at Pellion Technologies. He has also worked on GE Energy’s experienced commercial lending program.
“Josh has demonstrated a strong aptitude for managing a broad range of programs in fast-paced environments,” Walter said. “We are excited to welcome him as a key member of the leadership team and are confident his diverse background will be a tremendous asset to our company.”
