Insurance companies may have a host of new vehicles to insure as vehicle rental company GO Rentals is set to expand its operations in the South Island.
Go Rentals will open a new location in the Dunedin Airport terminal as part of its ongoing expansion plans nationwide. GO Rentals managing director James Dalglish claims the business is confident it will thrive in the region.
“Not only is it a beautiful region with so much to offer including its beautiful architecture and unique wildlife, but business-wise it also makes real sense for us,” Dalglish said. “The local economy continues to grow year on year, with both tourism numbers and the city’s population on the rise.”
Dalglish noted Go Rentals will have a mix of vehicles available, including a selection of premium SUVs and other cars for touring. It also offers seasonal add-ons to take into account seasonal variability, including roof racks, ski chains, and accessories for travellers to customise their vehicle for winter season.
“We look forward to welcoming Go Rentals to Dunedin Airport and becoming one of our many wonderful Airport partners,” Dunedin Airport CEO Richard Roberts added. “Our rental car providers are an important part of the tourism industry, providing our visitors the chance to experience our wonderful city and lower south region.”
GO Rentals operations in Dunedin Airport will start from May 01. Go Rentals now has six locations nationwide, with branches also in Auckland Airport, Auckland CBD, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.
