Gallagher has acquired a full-service employee benefits consultant and broker based in New Providence, New Jersey.
The acquired broker, The Daniels Group, was founded in 1991. The company has been serving corporations, schools, hospitals, municipalities, religious and non-profit organisations, helping them with employee health plan design, implementation, as well as ongoing plan administration.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Kathleen Passantino, president of The Daniels Group, and her associates will be relocating to Gallagher’s Whippany, New Jersey office, where they will report to Northeast employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations head Kent Lonsdale.
