Gallagher Bassett New Zealand has announced the appointment of Bart Taylor as the firm’s chief business transformation officer.
In this new role, Taylor will work closely with Gallagher Bassett NZ’s CEO and the executive team to deliver the firm’s five-year strategic plan, with close focus on driving growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing transformative initiatives.
An industry veteran with more than 20 years of insurance experience, Taylor’s background spans general insurance, life and health insurance, as well as support services. According to his LinkedIn, prior to Gallagher Bassett NZ, Taylor worked at Protecta Insurance NZ, most recently as head of automotive. He also worked at Allianz Partners, Spark New Zealand, IAG New Zealand, and Sovereign. He also spent time at Westpac and the Bank of New Zealand.
Gallagher Bassett New Zealand CEO Craig Furness said that Taylor has built a reputation as a trusted advisor who delivers exceptional results while supporting a positive team environment.
