Duck Creek Technologies (Duck Creek), which provides the general insurance industry with technological solutions, has appointed Anna Cattelan to the newly created role of director of customer success at APAC.
Cattelan (pictured) joined Duck Creek from one of the largest insurance companies in Australia and New Zealand, bringing over 20 years of experience from a variety of senior insurance roles spanning technology, risk, intermediary distribution, operations, and strategy.
“I'm very excited to be joining Duck Creek. They're an innovative global business leading the insurtech space. They are delivering exciting results in APAC and abroad,” she said.
As the director of customer success at APAC, Cattelan will focus on enhancing business outcomes for Duck Creek's customers in the region by delivering strategic support, guidance, and accountability. She will also oversee a growing team committed to ensuring that customers continue to receive increased value and ROI from their Duck Creek SaaS platform.
“In an environment of rapidly changing end-customer and broker expectations, and amid spiralling costs, cloud-delivered core insurtech solutions, like Duck Creek's, represent the path forward, allowing insurers to out-innovate and out-perform. I look forward to drawing on my first-hand experience to act as the customer advocate to ensure their technology and support needs are being exceeded and they're achieving the results they'd set out to,” Cattelan said.
Shaji Sethu, managing director APAC at Duck Creek, said building the customer success team will help the company deliver more capacity and effort to customers.
“At Duck Creek, we're proud of our close partnerships with our customers and the support we can offer. The fact that most of our employees have worked at, or for, an insurer means we deeply appreciate of what our customers are going through and what they're trying to achieve. Anna's diverse insurance experience and her fresh perspective will allow us to strengthen these relationships even further,” Sethu said.
