Australian insurtech Claim Central Consolidated has appointed Jeff Pryde as its New Zealand country head.
Pryde brings more than 34 years of insurance industry experience both locally and globally, working in management roles, loss adjusting, catastrophe management (CAT) and client development. His most recent role was second-in-charge for Crawford New Zealand, where he was responsible for CAT management for the Christchurch and Kaikoura earthquakes and several other significant events.
In his new role, Pryde will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of Claim Central’s newly established New Zealand team. He will also work closely with clients and business partners and will be based in Auckland.
“Jeff’s appointment brings an important mix of external experience to lead the New Zealand team, coupled with a deep understanding of loss adjusting and catastrophe management,” Claim Central global chief executive Brian Siemsen said. “Jeff is an accomplished business leader and is well positioned to help drive Claim Central’s strategy and future potential in the important New Zealand market.”
