CFC has announced the appointment of Nichola Archibald as the company’s interim chief people officer.

Archibald brings to CFC over two decades of experience in human resources across various industry sectors, including significant roles at Inter Hannover Plc, Hannover Re, RSA, and Aviva. Her expertise encompasses developing people strategies, boosting employee engagement, and shaping positive corporate cultures.

Before joining CFC, Archibald had been offering HR consulting and executive coaching to diverse businesses for more than 10 years. In this new role, Archibald will play a crucial part in advancing the firm’s commitment to its workforce as the company embarks on further growth and development.

Expressing enthusiasm about her appointment, Archibald noted CFC’s reputation within the insurance industry and its vibrant team culture.

“I’m excited to work closely with my colleagues as we evolve our culture and capabilities to the next stage, positioning the business for continued growth and success,” Archibald said.

“We have big plans to build on CFC’s significant track record of success, and as we take the next steps forward on our journey it is more important than ever that we invest even more in our people. This will involve introducing new policies and procedures to create an environment in which our people can thrive and ensuring our HR team have the leadership they need to help drive these new initiatives through the business,” CFC group CEO Louise O’Shea said.
