Canstar has announced the winners of inaugural Most Satisfied Customers Awards featuring insurers that have proven their ability to provide great quality of service.
Launched this year for New Zealand’s financial services sector, the awards are designed to add a consumer perspective to Canstar’s comparison service as well as complement its Star Ratings and Awards.
This year’s winners in the insurance sector included Southern Cross Health Society for health insurance, State Car Insurance for car insurance, and Southern Cross Pet Insurance for pet insurance.
Other winners were Kiwibank for home loans, BNZ for personal loans, American Express for credit card rewards, the Co-operative Bank for banking, Simplicity for KiwiSaver provider, and FMG for home and contents.
Jose George, general manager at Canstar NZ, said the awards were an important part of their ambition to improve the country’s digital marketplace.
“These awards reflect the consumer’s voice and provide insights into how New Zealanders feel about the products and services they are being provided. We surveyed a wide range of Kiwis to understand what they are looking for, and what kept them satisfied,” George said.
He added that the awards series will be run annually to provide customers with an opportunity to give feedback to their financial service providers.
“We had a fantastic response to this first awards series, and we’re looking forward to rolling it out again next year. We know this really matters - not only to the consumer, but to the provider. A team that is endorsed by its customers is, without doubt, doing an excellent job. We congratulate all the winners,” George concluded.
