Rothbury Insurance Brokers is opening a new branch in Nelson, expanding its presence from one to two brokers and bringing the total number of country-wide locations the brokerage is operating in to 18.
Broker Phil Thompson will head the new branch, which will be home to four team members.
“I’m very excited to take up the helm of the Nelson branch and look forward to helping new clients with their insurance needs,” said Thompson.
Rothbury managing director
Roger Abel said the company’s client base was growing by 100 clients a week in Nelson, “so providing the right service to meet their needs is critical.”
“We’re committed to helping our clients manage their risk and exposure by providing the highest level of service and quality advice on insurance solutions,” Abel said. “Our extensive network of branches means we’re able to work with clients at a local level and gain a better understanding of the everyday challenges they face.”
Last November, Rothbury received awards for Large Broking Company of the Year, Learning Programme of the Year, and Rothbury Hawke’s Bay broker Kim Matthews was named Broking Professional of the Year by
