The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance has signed an agreement with A&I Member Services that will equip all members of the service provider with an
ANZIIF membership.
“We hope this new relationship will bring a high level of education and uniformity to our industry by providing a more consistent approach to our member brokers and investing in their careers,” AIMS General Manager Glenn Schultz said. “AIMS is extremely excited to provide this industry-leading membership to all our members and their staff, and cement it as one of our core member offerings under our AKTED Academy.”
The ANZIIF membership, which AIMS provided their network staff, includes:
- access to training for professional qualifications
- full access to ANZIIF’s Members’ Centre, including 1,300-plus articles and interactive activities
- discounted tickets to ANZIIF professional development events, including seminars, breakfasts
- and conferences
- postnominal access to those who qualify as CIP members
- access to ANZIIF’s CPD points tracker to record training undertaken.
ANZIIF Chief Executive Officer
Prue Willsford said the agreement is a step forward for the professional risk body and its industry collaboration and partnership-based approach.
“It provides AIMS members a great opportunity to keep up to date on what is happening across a wider section of the industry, as well as providing members the opportunity for continuous development and learning,” Willsford said.
AIMS is a member services organisation and joint venture between Australian insurance broking groups Austbrokers (equity-based partnership group) and IBNA (non-equity members group).
