ANZIIF will host an insurtech conference for brokers and insurance providers in May in Sydney to discuss the emergence of new global technology players, and the challenges and opportunities insurtech brings to the insurance market.
The conference will be proceeded by an Insurtech 101 workshop targeting insurance professionals and featuring ‘Insurtech Alley’ which directly connects industry professionals to tech companies and the opportunities they present to the insurance market.
Key topics of discussion will include: Is the industry ready for digital disruption? How can insurers and insurtech companies partner to deliver the best outcomes for customers?
The conference is worth six Certified Insurance Professionals (CIP) points. Under the programme, insurance professionals need to acquire 25 points across a calendar year to ensure skills are up-to-date.
