Allianz Partners New Zealand has formalised its appointment of Kevin Blyth (pictured) as chief executive officer. He had been serving in an acting capacity since January.
Blyth joined Allianz Partners in 2017 as chief operating officer. He previously held the same role at AIA New Zealand for almost two years. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade with AMP New Zealand, holding various leadership positions.
Blyth’s extensive background in insurance includes focuses on life & health, travel, pet, and inbound student, according to a statement from Allianz Partners.
“Kevin has been leading the business in an interim capacity for the past six months,” said Allianz Partners Asia-Pacific CEO Vinay Surana.“He has effectively managed the business during an exceptionally challenging time. We are pleased to appoint him to this position on a permanent basis and his appointment highlights our continued commitment to serving our clients and partners in New Zealand.”
Allianz Partners New Zealand, based in Takapuna, provides customers with assistance services and various general insurance products through its local and international business partners.
